Cinema Club - Groups 1 & 2, Group 3
Much like the study of literature, the proper viewing of films can provide healthy thought and insightful discussion for students of any age. Through the Timberline Cinema Club, students will be encouraged to recognize movies as more than just entertainment. Through even the simplest of movies, we can learn about human life, interactions, and even how we view our future.
Below is a tentative list of movies that we will be covering in the two different groups this year. Parents are encouraged to have an open dialogue with their students after the viewing of each of these movies. If there are ever any questions about the content of the movies, Mrs. Timberlake encourages the parents to consult sites such as www.pluggedin.com, where all the details of the movies are discussed and rated.
